Volotea focuses on France from Salerno
New international routes for summer 2025 from Salerno airport Amalfi Coast: Lyon, Marseille and Nantes
Volotea, the airline specialising in connections between small and medium-sized European destinations, is strengthening its international strategy by focusing on the French market from Salerno.
Starting in July 2025, the company will focus its operations on three new direct routes between France and Salerno airport, a strategic market for incoming tourism and for the economic development of the region.
In detail, the new international routes for summer 2025 will be:
✈ Lyon: from 4 July, two weekly flights (Monday and Friday).
✈ Marseille: exclusive connection operational from 6 July, with two weekly frequencies (Wednesday and Sunday).
✈ Nantes: the direct route with two weekly flights (Tuesday and Friday) has been confirmed, extended until October 2025, in addition to the connections already operating from Naples.

Volotea was the first company to believe in Salerno airport, and this expansion strengthens the link between Campania and France, facilitating the arrival of French tourists to discover the Amalfi Coast, Salerno and the wonders of Southern Italy. In addition, the company has already announced that it will continue to invest in this market in 2026, with new connection opportunities being studied.
