Wizz Air's new routes from Naples
Wizz Air has announced a further step forward in its expansion in Campania. Starting from winter 2025, the company will introduce three new routes from Naples to Brasov (Romania), Tel Aviv (Israel) and Chisinau (Moldova), thanks to the positioning at the Neapolitan base of a second latest generation Airbus A321neo .
The new connections include three weekly frequencies to Brasov and Tel Aviv, and four to Chisinau, strengthening the links between Italy and dynamic markets in Eastern Europe. In addition to these novelties, there is also the annual extension of the route to Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), so far seasonal, which will also be operational during the summer months.
With the arrival of the second A321neo in Naples scheduled for October 2025, Wizz Air will increase the number of active routes from Naples Airport to 11. The company will also continue to operate connections to Bucharest and Tirana from Salerno airport, thus consolidating a total network of 13 routes from 2 Campania airports to 8 countries.

This development will result in 45 weekly flights to and from Naples and Salerno, helping to generate over 50 new direct jobs and about 300 indirect jobs in the local supply chain, with a positive impact on the region's economy.
The expansion in Campania is part of the company's broader growth strategy, supported by a fleet of 232 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, among the youngest and most sustainable in Europe.
With the "Customer First Compass" program, Wizz Air plans to invest €14 billion over the next three years, with the aim of improving services, reliability and innovation.
In 2024, Wizz Air operated almost 92,000 flights to and from Italy, with a 99.5% occupancy rate and a domestic network of more than 200 low-cost routes to 31 countries from 24 Italian airports. The company has already carried almost 100 million passengers to and from Italy.
